Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all users of The Summit.

Standard Bookings

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 3–6 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable.

BIPOC-Discounted or Sponsored Rates

We ask that cancellations be made at least 5 days in advance to allow others to access the space.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule your event once, at no charge, if notice is given at least 72 hours in advance.

No-Shows

No-shows will be charged the full booking amount and may be ineligible for future discounts.

The Summit is a nonprofit gathering and training space located in Colchester, Vermont — just off Exit 16 of I-89 and steps from Starbucks and local dining. Designed to host up to 50 guests comfortably, The Summit offers state-of-the-art presentation and conference technology, ample parking, and flexible layouts for workshops, meetings, and events. More than just a venue, The Summit exists to support equity and inclusion: we offer discounted rates for BIPOC-led organizations and events that directly serve marginalized or historically oppressed communities.
